Co-Chairman Springstroh and Wiegand suggested the Auxiliary hold the sale this Spring in the VFW Pavilion rather than the club house and yes...they FILLED the pavilion!  If anyone has an idea for a fund-raising event please talk to anyone who participated.  It was a lot of work but it was also great to get to know the other auxiliary members.  (Remember - ANYTHING BEATS A BRAT FRY!!!)  The proceeds were divided between Old Glory Flights, Fox Valley Council for Veterans and the Auxiliary Treasury. 

 

A special note - Post Comrade Russell Gerritts joined the Old Glory Flight that went to Washington D.C. on September 14, 2016.  The auxiliary specified his name on the donate check when it was sent in.  Hope you had a great trip Comrade Gerritts!
