Post/Auxiliary Extremely Busy in 2016

  • Post 7692 is routinely one of the top Posts for community service hours out of the 32 posts in District 8.
  • Auxiliary took part in the Freedom Town Wide Rummage Sale which raised over $2,000 with the proceeds divided among the Old Glory Honor Flight, Fox Valley Council for Veterans, and the Auxiliary Treasury.
  • The Post and Auxiliary conducted Freedom Memorial Day ceremonies at four area cemeteries.
  • Post/Auxiliary participated in several parades with an Honor Guard/Color Guard and Float
  • Appleton Flag Day parade
  • Seymour Hamburger Parade
  • Freedom Christmas Parade
  • Honor/Color Guard Supported many events:
  • Several Funerals
  • Several Timber Rattlers Games
  • Several Freedom High School Football Games
  • Race Car Show
  • Post/Auxiliary participated in the in Freedom Middle School Veterans day Ceremony
  • Post/Auxiliary conducted Patriotic instruction at St. Nicks and St. Peters
  • Post conducted several visits of Veterans in area assisted living facilities
  • Post continues to be active in supporting the Boy Scouts and most notably the Eagle Scout Program
  • Post supported both the Patriots Pen and Voice of Democracy
  • Post conducted an annual Buddy Poppy event which raised funds to support Post/Auxiliary assistance programs
  • Post conducted a raffle and conducts calendar sales with funds going to support programs for veterans
